Adeleide C. R. Bergsaker works as advisor at Oslo Sports Trauma Research Centre. She is the Project Coordinator of YoungParaHEALTHY – Pilot project for lifelong participation in sports, and Project Team Member of Saving lives together in sports for The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NIF)/ The Norwegian Football Federation (NFF).
Bergsaker holds a master’s degree in Equality and Diversity from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She has Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from The University of South-Eastern Norway (USN), two interdisciplinary bachelor’s degrees (subjects in Gender Studies, Outdoor Studies and Spanish), and she commenced Medicine at the University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway (UiT).
She has several years of experience working with children and young adults with various disabilities, especially at Frambu Resource Center for Rare Disorders.
