Atsuo Nakamae er ortoped fra Japan og har vært gjesteforsker på Senter for idrettsskadeforskning i 2004-05.

Ved siden av å få et aktiv innblikk i norske operasjonsstuer har Atsuo jobbet med nye analysemetoder for å bedre forståelsen av skademekanismene bak en fremre korsbåndskader.
