Marc Jacob Strauss (f. 1973) er tilknyttet Senter for idrettsskadeforskning gjennom sitt doktorgradsprosjekt «Improving ACL reconstructions in the adolescent population: anatomy, biomechanical and clinical outcomes using quadriceps tendon». Strauss er spesialist i ortopedisk kirurgi ved Idrettens Helsesenter på Ekeberg, der han driver bl.a. med skopisk kirurgi og ligamentrekonstruksjoner og har primert idrettsutøvere som pasient gruppe. Tidligere overlege ved Ortopedisk avdeling, Oslo universitetssykehus, Ullevål i perioden 2012-2021. Han er også lege ved Olympiatoppen, samt ved Norges Skiforbund med ansvar for det norske alpinlandslaget. I perioden juni 2018-juni 2019 var Marc i Vail, Colorado USA på Steadman Philippon Research Institute som en del av sitt doktorgradsarbeid. Marc har Professor Gilbert Moatshe dr. Robert LaPrade og professor Engebretsen som veiledere. Er i siste fase av doktorgradsarbeid med forskning på anatomi, biomekanisk styrke og outcome av quadricepssenen som brukes ved korsbåndsrekonstruksjoner
