Merete Møller
Fysioterapeut PhDCV
Merete (f. 1978) har tidligere jobbet som rådgiver ved Senter for idrettsskadeforskning som en del av Skadefri-prosjektet, og er i dag ansatt som forsker ved Senter for idrettsskadeforskning i en 20 % vikarstilling for perioden 1.10.2019 til 31.12.2021. Hennes primære arbeidsoppgave er å veilede doktor- og masterstuderende.
Merete er ansatt i en 100% stilling som adjunkt ved Syddansk Universitet (Danmark), hvor hun er prosjektleder for forskningsprosjektet «Happy»(Health and Performance Promotion in Youth sport), med særlig fokus på implementering av skadeforebyggende og prestasjonsfremmende tiltak til unge håndballspillere. Hun forsvarte sin doktoravhandling ved Aarhus Universitet (Danmark), med tittelen «Shoulder injuries in youth handball – incidence, severity and injury pattern recognition» i 2016. Hun er utdannet fysioterapeut fra Via University College i Aarhus og har i praksis arbeidet med elite håndballspillere.
Merete ble verdensmester i håndball i 1997 for Danmark.
